Getting Google Reviews that help with your SEO.
One if the things we incorporate into our client’s websites is the ability to have their Google Reviews help with their SEO. How do we do that? By not leaving it to chance.
There are two concerns when you request a patient give you a Google Review:
- They might not remember. While your patients may have good intentions to give you a good review, once they leave the office, they tend to just get on with their lives and sometimes forget, and
- Even if they do give a good Google Review, it might not help with your SEO. Unless… they use your keywords in their reviews.
Just saying. “Dr (Your Name Here) is awesome, his staff is fantastic and the procedure went perfectly, I recommend him,” doesn’t help with SEO. Only when they use they keywords for your practice in their reviews will it truly help.
Of course, they only way to get them to do that is to tell them the keywords to use. So you email them a request for a Google Review, with a link to the Google Review Guide on your website. It thanks them, explains the importance of using the procedure name, and includes a link right to your Google Reviews page.
Making it simple for your patients to give you an SO helping review goes a long way to helping with your SEO efforts.
