Global Cannaceuticals is a medical cannabis distribution company supplying adults with medical cannabis for ailments such as pain, anxiety, insomnia and many others. They are present in The United States as well as The Cayman Islands.
Problem
Global Cannaceuticals currently has a strong social media presence, but no way for customers to order products easily. They need a user friendly, easy to use and stunning application so that consumers are connected to their products in an efficient way. Hello mobile ordering!
Audience
Working professionals in demanding positions looking for a way to manage their ailments in a natural, efficient, and secure way. All while making it an easy and enjoyable time in the process.
Roles & Responsibilities
I was tasked with creating an effortless ordering application that presented all of GC's offerings, in one easy go-to ordering process. The task of keeping the visuals consistent with the minimalist styling, but also conveying all of the necessary information for ordering cannabis products.
Solution
Create a beautiful, easy to use application to browse all of Global Cannaceuticals products. Offerings are ordered based on what ailment the consumer is trying to alleviate, making finding their medical cannabis products a breeze. All while looking great, too!



Discovery & Research
Summary of the Data
From the user surveys and interviews it was obvious that people were looking for a way to order their cannabis products quickly and effectively. They wanted the process to be fun, as shopping for anything should be. This drove me to try to make a simple and beautiful mobile application that would allow users to shop for their medicinal cannabis, and have fun while doing it!
User Pain Points
Users described having a few paint points, these were:
- Not having a way to order and ship products easily.
- Not having recreational and medicinal products in one place.
Competitive Analysis
What are the other guys doing? I took inventory of what the competitors were doing well (or not) and try to use their mistakes and successes to make a better product for my client.
