Environmental

Unless you've been living under a rock (which, as you can imagine, is a very environmentally-friendly thing to do!), you may have noticed your target markets have been changing: from people concentrating on material stuff, to humans concerned about the world around them.

True, every prospect still wants to know "what's in it for me?" but there's another element at work now. And as part of the awareness, they're also looking for companies they work with to share that same focus.

And we can help you in this new arena, because if your message can both entertain AND educate, it may give you a distinct advantage over your competitor's marketing.

Sustainable Columbus logo

This logo started out as an abstract, futuristic interpretation of a train/streetcar (the blue element). From there, we wanted to introduce the clean and green portion, so it quickly became part transportation-related (the top part of the icon), part leaf (the bottom part of the icon). Together, we think it works as a cool interpretation of an environmentally-related organization focusing on transportation.

ecolumbus logo

We investigated this word play merging the words "eco" and "Columbus" for a new word altogether. And the beauty of it is, it only works for the city name "Columbus"! No other city name would merge as beautifully with "eco" as this.

The tag line picks up on both the transportation- and eco-focus of the group.

Beer Bottle Coalition

The Beer Bottle Coalition is an effort by Green Columbus, businesses and local artists to start recycling glass from bars and restaurants around Columbus.

Not only does it take glass out of the landfill, but gives artisans raw material to work with. Any glass not used by the art community will be sold to industrial businesses to recycle into fiberglass insulation.
