Aerial view of model home that spells out "I can't adfford it."

These are cool.

We ran across these ads on a website called Ads of The World, where you can see all kinds of awesome advertising, from all over the world. A couple we really like are the Home Depot ads below that were done in Mexico.

One of our favorite sections on  Ads of the World website, are the "Ambient" entries. Ambient is a type of "guerrilla marketing" which is a term for marketing that creeps up on you without you knowing... until it's "too late!" Then, Bam!: you've been marketed to, but in a surprising, and hopefully enjoyable, way.

However, there is one guerrilla marketing effort that deviated from the "hopefully enjoyable" approach. That promotion is called "Free Killer Tan" which you can see below. It is a shocking, and deeply personal, approach to educating people about what a "killer tan" really means.

Enjoy the Home Depot ads, and if you have a moment, check out the guerrilla marketing efforts that follow those print ads. We think you'll find them (mostly) very entertaining.

Model home in extreme detail with walls of home spelling out "Too Hard."

Three of our favorite guerrilla marketing promotions.

Check out one (or three) of our favorite guerrilla marketing efforts below. We think you'll love them, too.

This is the one that isn't as pleasant as most guerrilla marketing efforts, but totally impactful!
